Caroline Kennedy; Are you kidding?

I am more qualified!


Here we go again with a presumptive shoe in for a political seat. What we have to ask ourselves (because we did not for the Presidential Election) what really qualifies Caroline Kennedy?

This is a woman from a family that has not (since old Joe was bootlegging) had to work a day in their life. I for one can’t imagine someone more disconnected from the people and less deserving of the position. The name Kennedy does not of itself qualify you. I on the other hand have worked all my life, started and run several successful small businesses. I shop for myself and all the food I eat/prepare has pronounceable names. I have Never asked for anything and have earned everything I have myself. I know what it is like to have to be away from your family for months at a time to make the living that they need and deserve. Yes, deserve, by dint of the hard work and sweat of the brow, not the “deserve” of a little princess who just wants another pony. I really can’t believe that the Good People of New York would put up with this woman as their Senator instead of me. I call for All People who would like to be truly represented by an honest and hard working Professional Land Surveyor to call on the Governor of New York to appoint me. Remember that Mount Rushmore is 3 surveyors and the other guy. Your Nation was founded by surveyors and therefore there could be no better nor deserving choice than me.


I truly look forward to serving the Great State of New York. I at least can promise not to utter more ums and ahs then substance. It is a Great Day for America. Down with the Kennedys and Up with Surveyors!!! Contact Governor Paterson (518-474-8390) and make your wishes known in this area!

Losing His Sheen

It would appear that the rosy hue is comming off of Barack Obama. This toning down of his campaign promises and expections are lead by none other than his veep Joe Biden followed by many of the hard left of the Democrate.

"I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation." Barack Obama

What a Messianic Marvel. Why should we not expect miracles from this healer of the planet? Moses merely parted the Red Sea: small stuff by comparison to all the oceans of the earth changing their level by the wave of his God-like hand. Mighty indeed. Or has he over sold the goods?

According to Biden, he is worried about “exceedingly high expectations” the world community has for Obama’s presidency (perhaps it is the anticipation of the dismantling of American Exceptionalism for the substitution of European Socialism.) Biden said troops would be out (of Iraq) “within the next two years,” a significant difference from Barack's stated 16 months (or less). Biden dismissed this with "it's in the same ballpark." Asked about the President Elects selection for the Invocation prayer, Biden said "Obama is committed to equality for gays and lesbians, despite his selection of Rick Warren to give the inaugural convocation." Asked about the closing of Gitmo “We’re in the process of drawing up plans right now,” Biden said. “It’s going to be complicated to do it. It’s going to take more than a few months. But close it we must.” Roll back the clock again.

Hillary said, "McCain has 30 years of experience in the Senate, and Obama has a speech he made in 2002", and these words are beginning to ring very true with some small echos from the MSM (now that "their guy" won). While this quote came before the November elections, it would seem to represent an underlying resentment and dislike for the now President Elect. Other rumors abound concerning the Clintons dislike. According to Mr. Clinton "he is a Chicago thug" of whom he said "the bastard played the race card on me". Of course the Rev. Jackson would "like to cut off his (Obama's) "male parts"." There would not seem to be much uniting going on here.

Then there is the Blagoyevich scandal. If anyone thinks that Blago is going down without draging in whoever he can lay his hands on, they are a fool. It would seem that as far as Illinois politics and scandals go, Barack is the only virgin in the whorehouse. Even the MSM is starting to bemoan that we "just don't really know anything about Obama, not his stance on any of the issues or even his world view." Well now who's fault is that? Does this not in itself reveal the lies of the MSM?

It is clear that the shine is comming off when a hard left democrat like Barney Frank will take issue with Obama. Said Frank “If he was inviting the Rev. Warren to participate in a forum and to make a speech, that would be a good thing,” Frank said. “But being singled out to give the prayer at the inauguration is a high honor. It has traditionally given as a mark of great respect. And, yes, I think it was wrong to single him out for this mark of respect.” Not much of a mark of respect for Obama, and not much respect for the millions that Respect Rev. Warren. I am sure that the selection of the "Rev." Jackson would have been just fine by Mr. Frank.

If Barack is unable to unite his own party, how can anyone believe that he will have the fully 50% of Americans that did not vote for him, unite with him? He has not yet assumed office, but already the rancorous fighting, infighting and scandals have begun. We must hold them to their promises. We shall remember every one of them and expect them to live up to them. Hold their feet to the fire every time that they back pedal. When America sees what it is that this administration and the Democrat party in general really represent, their power will be short lived. Yes, the little wheels are becomming loose on the cart, and the shine is getting dim on the empty tin cup.
